Golf Event Results With Photos

This last Monday over 100 golfers and volunteers gathered to provide almost 20 scholarships plus to attend a camp for any child who does learn in a non-traditional manner!  A special thanks to our more than 35 + sponsors like Supersod and Technesis that are serving the southeast in turf and technology respectively.  Businesses like the Wild Hare and Lucky’s …all played a part in the annual clubs for camp event.  The photos tell the story of a wonderful time, and this has made a lot of possibilities now for families with difficult situations.  For example, many of our campers at Camp Skillz (a social skills program / camp) have never been to a camp due to the adjustments, group dynamics and the overwhelming feelings when attending a traditional camp format.  “We are very proud of our teachers and staff for their accommodations and understanding” says camp director, Lisa Henry.  “Thanks to all those who contributed to the camp by playing in the annual golf event! And from all of our camp families here at Glenforest, we hope you will come to camp too to meet our campers!”

A special thanks to Bruce Milton for his camera work and to the Glenforest Bulldog for your “true grit” and hard work.  Enjoy the photos!!
